Yes when you get roses at the fair they are so nice. Freshly dipped and beautiful hand crafted. Wooden roses until too years they are faded and not much to look at so I painted the with food dye and sprayed them well see how long they last. So pretty

Doggie

Got the Doggie Done today!!!

Now I just need to get like 20 more done for my Daughters tree!! Then I will be able to sew some skirting together..Still need to think of a star idea.

My garden

My roses are in full bloom this year. I have a Pink one, Yellow one with red tips, and white or pink as they choose. I also added three new rose plants. One is called Angel face and smells of citrus. I plan on this weekend ripping out my two infected spruces (spider mites) and getting either Rhododendron or rose trees. Coming up next year or maybe the end of this year I am added a pond with Lillies. I am added Peonies at the end of the drive way. Adding a vegetable garden and of course a white Lilac and maybe some nifty bird feeders. For now nursing my roses for optical growth.

First Kitty Kat

I am working on my first Kitty Kat Ornament. TIME for perfection. I am happy with this one but it could be so much better. Dogs, Dinosaurs, Fishes and Birds to come soon. But with two kiddos it is hard to get alot done.

Christmas Tree Decorations.

Decorations for Princesses trees . Thank you Ivy Cottages for the ideas. It is awesome and very easy to make. Thank gosh, for people who have toddlers and understand how destructive they are. These are my butterfly ones. Used Tapestry needles, inside they are packed with old felt, Embroiderer string, and hot glue gun and the skill of sewing. I just need to get my tree now.

Now to find some flowers and to make the little boy ones

Shadow Boxing!!

I am all ready to get my shadow boxing done. We went to Cape Cod and I picked up all kinds of goodies. I found on the beach some beautiful shells, crab shells, rocks, clams and lots of sand. I plan of making a shadow box for our room. Or maybe a couple shadow boxes. I hope it turns our exactly how I plan it.Just need to get me some vials for a message in a bottle.

Tips: Mix sand and elmers glue together and it will stick in the shadow box easier.
Mix clear glue and water together and use it as a glaze on shells to enhance their colors

Since this is another one of our kids collages it will be in one of their rooms. Our daughter has a collage of pictures of the zoo from when they were little. My next project is finishing their rooms and making felt ornaments for their Christmas trees. I have all the pieces and ribbon I need for that. Making boy and girl ornaments is going to be the hard part. But Toddler safe trees. Next will be garland and such. Preparing for Christmas all ready. Its is right around the corner.
